NASA captures rare view of lunar eclipse, rising sun (VIDEO)
A total eclipse of the moon on Wednesday offered stargazers a rare chance to see both an eclipsed moon and a rising sun at the same moment, thanks to an optical trick played by the earth’s atmosphere.
The live stream was broadcast from the Griffith Observatory Los Angeles and U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
