Branson teens face felony charges after kitten is dragged to death
A second person was charged Tuesday in connection with abusing a kitten in Branson, Mo., in an incident that was captured on video and then posted on Facebook.
According to a report from the Branson Police Department obtained by the Branson Tri-Lakes News, Jordan Michael Derek Hall, 18, drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the cat tied to the back of the vehicle.
The cat ran behind the vehicle until it could not run anymore, according to the report. The kitten died while being dragged by the vehicle.
Kyle Williams, 18, of Branson was arrested on Saturday after he posted a video of “the brutal incident” on Facebook, which led police to the location where he was taken into custody, according to a statement released by Branson police.
Both Williams and Hall face charges of felony abuse of an animal and armed criminal action, according to the Tri-Lakes News. They are being held at the Taney County Jail with a bond set at $15,000.
