Those who wear little to give turkeys to those who have little
Those who commonly wear less as part of their jobs are lending a hand to those who have less this holiday season.
A group of affiliated strip clubs in south Florida is donating 3,000 turkeys to needy families next week. The giveaways will be held at three locations on November 20 in West Palm Beach, Hallandale Beach and Pompano Beach.
The free Thanksgiving turkey giveaways started in 2014 with 100 turkeys handed out in one location.
“We like to let people know we’re human, because we are a strip club, and we’re often stereotyped,” Greg Jarmon, general manager of the Cheetah Gentleman’s Club in Hallandale said in a story on GossipExtra.com. “We’re the same people that live next door to you. We have compassion.”
The turkeys will be distributed, one per family, until they all run out.
To boost response, promoters are planning to have unnamed “former NFL greats” and actor Angel “Chi Chi” Salazar appear at the turkey giveaway.
