Anthony resident Troy Hurst won $1 million by matching all five white balls in the Jan. 13 Powerball drawing, according to a news release from the Kansas Lottery.

Two people in Kansas had $1 million tickets, but the second winning ticket has not yet been claimed, according to the release.

Hurst bought his winning ticket at the Casey’s General Store in Harper, according to the release.

Hurst plans to pay off debts and put most of his winnings into a retirement fund, the release says.
