Check out ballot questions on Sedgwick County’s website before voting
Each Monday, The Eagle highlights a government record that is available to the public. Open records help people keep government in check and help them better understand how government affects their lives.

The record: A guide to ballot questions for the Nov. 4 general election.
Why you’d want it: To know what you’ll be voting on and to make sure you understand the ballot questions before the election. You can pull up the actual questions before you go to vote. Bel Aire, Valley Center and Wichita residents will vote on sales taxes. There also will be a Kansas Constitutional Amendment ballot question on charitable raffles that all Kansas voters will vote on.
Where you get it: Go to www.sedgwickcounty.org/elections. Look for the links under the “Important Updates” menu.
How much it costs: The information is free.
