The record: A list of lobbyists in Kansas and their clients.
Why you’d want it: To learn who is trying to influence legislators and other leaders in the state and on whose behalf.
Where you get it: Go to the Kansas Secretary of State’s website, www.kssos.org. Click on the “Elections and Legislative” link and then on “Lobbyist Directory.” You may then view a list by lobbyist name or by client name.
How much it costs: The information is free.
