The record: Sedgwick County’s proposed $421,355,378 budget for next year.
Why you’d want it: To learn more about how the county plans to spend taxpayer money. A final public hearing on the budget will take place at 9 a.m. Monday at the Sedgwick County Commission meeting room on the third floor of the courthouse, 525 N. Main. Commissioners will vote on the budget at their meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Both meetings are open to the public.
