Heroes Sports Bar & Grill to be remodeled

WICHITA — Not many 20-year-olds need a facelift — unless, that is, you're talking about a 20-year-old bar.

The last time Heroes Sports Bar & Grill in Old Town was remodeled was 10 years ago on its 10th birthday.

"We're ready to give it another facelift," says general manager Darrin Hackney.

The business is purchasing a bit of extra land in front of its patio to increase the area for smokers.

All the TVs will be upgraded and there likely will be a new color scheme among other changes.

Plans are still in the works; however, Hackney is confident to say there will be a new feel to the space.

"It'll feel like a new Heroes."
