First Student looking for school bus drivers

First Student, which provides bus service for the Wichita school district, is working to fill positions before school starts in August.

The company will host a job fair for prospective drivers from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at its Wichita office, 4141 N. Seneca.

Those interested in being a bus driver can attend the fair, apply online at apply.firstgroupcareers.com, or call 316-832-9231. Wages start at $13.25 per hour.

Drivers must be 21 and possess a valid driver’s license. First Student provides free training and help in obtaining a commercial driver’s license.
