Nominations due Friday for Wichita school district’s Good Apple Award

If you’d like to nominate a Wichita public school employee, volunteer, nonprofit group or local business for a Good Apple Award, nomination forms are due Friday.

Nomination forms are available on the district’s website or from building principals. Deadlines vary by school, so consult the principal where the nominee works or volunteers. Principals must select their award recipients and notify the district’s marketing and communications department by noon Friday.

Good Apple Awards honor individuals or groups who make an extra effort to help students succeed. The Good Apple Awards ceremony is 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at North High School.
