Wichita State names new chief information officer

Toney Flack, formerly the information technology director at Middle Tennessee State University, is the new chief information officer at Wichita State University.

Flack will manage technology and technology-related academic and administrative services, WSU said in a prepared statement.

Flack has bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the Lawrence Institute of Technology and the University of Michigan. He spent 29 years in private-sector manufacturing, WSU said.
