What are Wichita area’s best public and private high schools? See the new ranking

Schools in the Andover, Maize and Wichita districts made it on Niche’s top five public high schools in the Wichita area and a Wichita private high school was ranked best in the entire state.

Niche recently released its rankings for 2025 based on parent and student surveys and other metrics, evaluating academics, teachers, diversity, culture and the overall school district.

The best ranked Wichita-area school districts are:

  1. Andover
  2. Renwick
  3. Maize
  4. Valley Center
  5. Goddard
