Wichita district announces leadership changes at schools

▪ Paula Rodriguez, assistant principal at Christa McAuliffe Academy, will become the principal at White Elementary, replacing the retiring Marcia Shepler.

▪ Chris Wendt, principal at Cloud, will become the principal at Minneha Elementary, replacing the retiring Linda Hope.

▪ Patricia Brown, assistant principal at Cloud, will become Cloud’s principal.

▪ Michelle Ingenthron, principal at Ortiz Elementary, will become the principal at Colvin Elementary, replacing the retiring Karen Whittle.

▪ Kristina Bowyer, assistant principal at Mueller, will become the principal at Ortiz.

▪ Angie Brown, assistant principal at Coleman, will become the principal at Seltzer Elementary, replacing Laura Thompson, who is taking another position in the district.

▪ Ken Jantz, the district’s director of ESOL services, will become director of Multilingual Education Services, replacing the retiring Dalia Hale.
