Wichita State names new interim dean for Barton School of Business
The business school at Wichita State University has named a new interim dean to replace the previous interim dean.
James Jordan-Wagner, formerly dean of the College of Business at Tennessee Technological University, becomes interim dean of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at WSU on Tuesday, WSU said in a prepared statement today.
He will serve for the remainder of the 2014-15 academic year, WSU said.
A national search for a permanent dean will begin later this year, the statement said.
Cindy Claycomb, named this month as new director of WSU Ventures, had been the school’s interim dean.
Jordan-Wagner holds a doctorate in finance from the University of North Texas, the WSU statement said.
