Consulting attorney for Hobby Lobby to speak at Newman about Supreme Court decision
Kevin Walsh, who served as a consulting attorney in the Sebelius vs. Hobby Lobby case decided by the Supreme Court, will speak at Newman University in Wichita on Sept. 19, the university said in a statement.
He will speak at 7:30 p.m. that night in Performance Hall, inside the De Mattias Fine Arts Center on the Newman campus, the university said. The event, titled “Catholic Justice at the Supreme Court,” is free and open to the public, the university statement said.
Walsh served on the legal team for Hobby Lobby in the recent case involving the Affordable Care Act, the university statement said.
