The Wichita school district will show off magnet schools, neighborhood schools and special programs at its annual Choices Fair on Thursday.
The fair, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Century II Exhibition Hall, is designed to provide “one-stop shopping” for families exploring education options within the Wichita district.
The district puts on the free fair to give families a chance to learn about school choices and consider the options before the magnet school application deadline.
The deadline to apply for most magnet and alternative schools for the 2017-18 school year is Dec. 16. Applications are available online at www.usd259.org/magnet.
