On Tuesday, at approximately 2:44 a.m., officers from the Wichita Police Department responded to the Dollar General Store at 4610 E. 13th St. for a burglary. The front glass door to the business was broken, and the officer discovered a large rock that appeared to have been thrown through the front door. A large glass cigarette case had been shattered and several packs of cigarettes were taken. A hammer was found on the floor near the shattered glass cigarette case, which is thought to have been left behind by the suspect. A glove was located outside of the business, which is also thought to have been left by the suspect.
