The crime

At 1:50 a.m. on Tuesday, a man approached A-Ok Pawn and Retail at 7310 W. Central from the northwest. He was filmed on a surveillance camera walking through the parking lot to the west of the shop, then across to its front door. He hesitated near the front door to make sure there were no witnesses.

When he didn’t see anyone, he used a tool to smash in the door and walked directly to the wall where the guitars and banjos were hanging. He picked up three guitars and a banjo and left through the same hole he created to get in.

More video shows him carrying the instruments back to the northwest. The entire crime took less than three minutes. The suspect is a man, but the video quality is too poor to determine other identifying traits.
