Wichita police seek help in reported shooting in south Wichita
The crime
At approximately 1 p.m. Feb. 1, three men driving away from the Wal-Mart at Pawnee and Broadway noticed they were being followed by a silver, four-door vehicle. The car pulled up beside them and motioned for them to follow. Then the car pulled into a driveway. The driver got out and pointed an assault rifle at them. The men quickly sped away.
When they saw the car near Seneca and Davis, they tried to get its tag number, but it stopped again and someone inside shot at them. Police recovered cartridge casings at the scene.
