Wichita police are looking for help finding whoever stole from six bars and liquor stores after cutting alarm wires.
In the six incidents, robbers broke into businesses between 4:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., sometimes cutting alarm wires, stealing recorders and taking cash, a Crime Stoppers release said. Money was also taken from jukeboxes and vending machines at several of the bars and liquor stores.
Between March 4 and April 10, the release said, robbers stole from Vixen's, near Harry and Broadway; Mick's, at Washington and Lincoln; Snoops, near I-135 and Mount Vernon; P&S Liquor, near I-135 and Pawnee; Penny's, near 21st and McLean; and Barron's, near Oliver and Pawnee.
Police ask anyone with information on the robberies to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111. A tipster whose tip leads to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,500.
