Police seek public’s help after hit-and-run accident
The crime
About 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, a resident of the Timbers – an apartment complex for people with disabilities at 2021 N. Old Manor – was making her way through the complex on her personal scooter. She was struck by a white sedan. The collision broke her leg, requiring surgery. Her injury is complicated by her disability.
Surveillance footage shows an unknown man and woman with the victim after the incident. The man left on foot, and the woman drove off in the white sedan.
