Fight at Water’s Edge apartment complex sends two to hospital
An early morning fight outside the Water’s Edge apartment complex, 400 W. Central, left two men seriously injured, according to the Wichita Police Department.
A 29-year-old man living at the complex called police about the fight around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Wichita police Sgt. Wendell Nicholson.
When police arrived, they found a 33-year-old man bleeding from the mouth.
He had gotten into a fight with a 53-year-old man, punching him multiple times in the face and knocking out several of his teeth, Nicholson said.
Before the 53-year-old man was knocked out, he took a knife and cut the 33-year-old man in the neck, Nicholson said.
Both were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
