Gas station in southwest Wichita robbed at gunpoint
A gas station at Pawnee and Seneca was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning, according to the Wichita Police Department.
Wichita police Sgt. Wendell Nicholson said a 25-year-old woman working at the store reported seeing a dark, four-door car – possibly a Hyundai Sonata – circling the business around 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
The driver of the car, an unknown man approximately 25 to 30 years old, entered the store via a side door and demanded cash, brandishing a black handgun.
After receiving the cash, he then left the scene in the dark-colored car.
No injuries were reported.
