Police: Woman’s leg broken after being hit by SUV
A 25-year-old woman has a broken leg after being struck by an SUV in south Wichita early Saturday morning.
Wichita police Sgt. Wendell Nicholson said the 30-year-old male driver of the red SUV, who the woman knows, intentionally hit her with the vehicle around 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of South Greenwood. That’s near Lincoln and Hydraulic.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she was treated for the fractured leg.
Police are unsure what precipitated the argument, and are looking for the SUV driver. They are also unsure of the relationship between the man and the woman.
