Man arrested at south Wichita Wal-Mart suspected of involvement in Iowa homicide
A man suspected of being involved in an Iowa homicide was apprehended at a south Wichita Wal-Mart store, according to the Wichita Police Department.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, WPD officers and U.S. Marshals agents arrested Steven Asbury without incident Tuesday at the Wal-Mart at Pawnee and Broadway.
He was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail and is being held for Iowa authorities.
According to the post, the Des Moines Police Department was looking for Asbury in connection with a homicide that occurred last week.
