Man arrested in fatal El Dorado shooting

A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this week in El Dorado, authorities said.

The victim, Phillip A. Little, 54, had been shot multiple times late Monday night at 2610 Country Club, according to statements issued by the El Dorado Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene just after midnight on Monday.

Neither Little nor the arrested man lived at the house in northeast El Dorado where the shooting occurred, Lt. Maggie Schreiber said in a statement issued to media.

A second man has been questioned in connection with the fatal shooting, but he was not arrested. The case will be forwarded to the Butler County Attorney’s Office for review and the filing of charges, Schreiber said.
