Downtown hotel robbed

The Hotel at WaterWalk was robbed by a lone gunman Sunday night, police said.

The robbery occurred shortly before 9:15 p.m. at the hotel, 711 S. Main, Officer Charley Davidson said. The suspect walked into the hotel with a gun and demanded money.

The employee complied and the robber left the area on foot, Davidson said.
