Dodge City woman sentenced to 21 years for child porn
A Dodge City woman will serve more than 21 years in federal prison for filming herself having sex with a young child and then posting it online.
The child in the video created by 25-year-old Ashley Marie Kelly was younger than 5, Acting U.S. Attorney Tom Beall said in a news release announcing her sentence. Kelly admitted to using a smartphone to record the sexual assault on the child and then uploading it to her Google Drive account.
Google found the images and sent a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Beall said.
Kelly pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography in March. She was ordered to serve the 260-month sentence Monday.
