Armed robbery reported at Wichita Taco Bell

Two men robbed an east Wichita Taco Bell on Saturday evening, Wichita police said.

Officers were called to the Taco Bell in the 5800 block of East Central at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, said Wichita police Sgt. Joe Kennedy. Two employees told the officers that two men came into the restaurant with handguns and demanded money, Kennedy said.

The thieves stole an unknown amount of money and left the Taco Bell in an unknown direction. No one was injured, Kennedy said.
