Emporia man sentenced to prison for internet child porn
Passing around child porn on the internet landed an Emporia man in federal prison for six years, Acting U.S. Attorney Tom Beall announced Monday.
Zachary E. Krueger, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of distributing child pornography and was sentenced on Monday, Beall said. In his plea, Krueger admitted to sharing explicit images of children using an encrypted peer-to-peer network. He was caught by an undercover agent out of Delaware after the two began chatting online and Krueger gave the agent a password to access and download files of youngsters engaging in sexual activities.
Investigators traced Krueger’s IP address to his home in Emporia. Court records show he pleaded guilty as charged.
