Dillons parking lot dispute leads to gunshot

A dispute over vehicle damage led one driver to allegedly fire a gun at another on Saturday night in the Dillons parking lot near Harry and Edgemoor, according to Wichita police.

A 65-year-old man and a 26-year-old man got in an argument at about 8 p.m. about damage to their vehicles when the 65-year-old allegedly drove his truck into the other man as he tried to get the man’s license plate number, police said.

At that point, the 26-year-old allegedly grabbed onto the back of the truck and fired his gun once, according to police.

Nobody was injured. Police are still investigating.
