Man shot in knee after argument, police say

A man shot another man in the kneecap after an argument on Monday, Wichita police said.

Two men, ages 36 and 41, got into an argument at 4:15 p.m. in a house in the 1500 block of South Market, said Wichita police Sgt. Nikki Woodrow.

The older man shot the younger man in the left knee and left, she said.

The victim was taken to a hospital, she said.

Police know the identity of the other man, but have not yet located him, she said.
