Wichita police released photos Tuesday in the robbery of an Intrust Bank in east Wichita earlier in the day.

The robbery was reported at 10:13 a.m. at the branch at Central and Rock Road, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said. One of the two men was armed with a gun.

Both suspects were black men, the dispatcher said. One wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black mask and dark shoes. He had something wrapped around his head to hide his face and he may have been wearing sunglasses.

The second suspect wore a black beanie, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. He had something white covering his face and was carrying a blue bag, the dispatcher said.

According to the Wichita Police Department’s Facebook page, one suspect jumped the counter and began taking money from various locations, while the other suspect stood guard. Both then left, running north.

Anyone with information about these suspects is asked to call the Robbery Section at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
