Wichita police investigating robbery at Presto station near Towne West Square

Wichita police are investigating a robbery that happened Saturday night at the Presto gas station at 4415 W. Maple, near Towne West Square.

The robbery occurred at 9:10 p.m., according to Sgt. Bob Gulliver, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

A 23-year-year-old employee reported a 35-year-old man entered the business and pushed him, taking money and cigarettes and then fleeing.

Wichita police searched the area, Gulliver said, but did not locate a suspect.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.
