Dillons robbed Saturday morning in far west Wichita
Wichita police are looking for a man who robbed the Dillons at Maple and 135th Street West shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday.
A Dillons employee told officers the suspect came to the Customer Service counter at about 8:10 a.m., indicated he had a weapon and gave her a grocery bag, telling her to put the money in it, Wichita police Sgt. Wendell Nicholson said. She complied with request and he left the store, driving off in a white, four-door sedan.
He is a white man in his early 20s who is about 5-feet-9 with a thin build. He wore black pants, a pink long-sleeved shirt, sunglasses and a ball cap, Nicholson said.
The employee was not injured.
