Police still looking for woman in video taking purse from dead woman

Law enforcement officers are still looking for a woman who stole the purse of a woman who collapsed and died outside Interfaith Villa Courts last weekend.

A few tips have come in related to the incident, Wichita police Sgt. Nikki Woodrow said Wednesday, but “none have panned out.”

Someone called 911 at about 7:15 a.m. Saturday to report that a woman had collapsed and was not responsive, police have said. A surveillance camera captured the theft in the 900 block of North Market.
