Weekend saturation patrol yields one DUI arrest in Sedgwick County
A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office saturation patrol over the weekend netted one arrest for DUI, a sheriff’s official said Tuesday.
The four-hour patrol late Friday night and early Saturday morning resulted in 12 car stops, sheriff’s Lt. Lin Dehning said. Deputies issued seven misdemeanor citations, three traffic tickets and four warnings.
Three deputies were involved in the patrol, Dehning said, which was funded by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
