The 47-year-old man said that a 27-year-old man whom he knew robbed him of $32 at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, while two other men whom he knew battered him. He said that one of the men, 36, brandished a firearm and hit him in the head with it. The other man was 33, Nedbalek said.

The victim was treated at Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph and released, Nedbalek said. Police had not made any arrests in the case.
