Court hearing for Michelle’s Beach House operator postponed
A preliminary hearing for the long-time operator of Michelle’s Beach House, an exotic dance club in Derby, was postponed Thursday.
Michelle Borin is charged with obstructing apprehension or prosecution, a felony. She also faces a misdemeanor battery charge.
The hearing, in Sedgwick County District Court, is now scheduled for May 12. Prosecutors on Thursday requested the continuance.
Borin, 55, was charged on March 30, 2015.
She is known from her commercials for her business and her effort in 2005 to acquire the Park City house owned by BTK serial killer Dennis Rader.
