Three juveniles were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center on charges of aggravated robbery Saturday night after they tried to take a pizza from a pizza delivery man, according to Wichita police.

The three were unsuccessful in taking the pizza from the man and did not get any cash either, said Wichita police Sgt. Steve Yarberry. But one of the youths reportedly punched the delivery man in the face, injuring his left ear.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of West Benway in south Wichita, police said.

Yarberry said officers found the three in the 300 block of West 30th Street South, about a half-mile from where the attempted robbery occurred.
