Police: Two men report attacks in unrelated incidents on Grove
Two men reported being attacked Saturday in two unrelated cases, according to Wichita police.
The incidents, which both occurred on Grove, do not appear to be connected, said Wichita police Sgt. Steve Yarberry. Police have no suspects in either case.
In the first incident, a 32-year-old man reported being struck in the face at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday by a stranger with an unknown object while he was at Second and Grove.
He was treated at Wesley Medical Center for multiple fractures to the left side of his face.
The second incident occurred at about midnight, police said. A 32-year-old man walked into Via Christi Hospital St. Francis and said he had been cut multiple times while he was near 13th and Grove.
The man was treated for cuts on his face, back of his head and right forearm.
Yarberry said police do not know the cause of either incident.
