Three men rob Food Mart at 13th and Market

Three men — at least two of them masking their faces — robbed the Food Mart on Market on Tuesday night, police said.

The robbery occurred at about 9:20 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Market, Lt. James Espinoza said. That’s next to 13th Street.

They demanded money from the register and left the area on foot, the store clerk told police. Only one of three had a gun.

The man with the gun is Hispanic and about 18 years of age, the clerk told police. He was 5-feet-9 and 200 pounds. He wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans, a black and white baseball cap and a black and white bandana over his face.

The second suspect is a Hispanic male about 20 years old, the clerk said. He is about 5-feet-10 and 150 pounds. He was carrying a black backpack and wore blue jeans and a black ski mask.

Police do not have a detailed description of the third suspect.

No injuries were reported in connection with the robbery.
