Wichita police are investigating a residential robbery in west Wichita in which a 65-year-old man was tied up while two men went through his house, taking two small safes and $100.
The robbery happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 1000 block of W. Munnell, according to Sgt. Joe Kennedy, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
The man told police one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him and told him to sit down. The two suspects then tied up the man and went through his house.
After the robbers left, the man was able to break free and call police.
The man was not injured, Kennedy said.
