Teens with handguns rob Valero store on East 21st

Three male teenagers with handguns robbed a Valero store and three customers who were in the store on East 21st Street near Minnesota early Saturday, police say.

The three males, in their mid- to late teens, entered the store about 1 a.m. and demanded money from the Valero employee and three customers, who ranged in age from 22 to 51, said police Sgt. Joe Kennedy. The three robbers then left on foot around the back of the store, he said. The employee, a 36-year-old man, received a minor injury, and the customers were not hurt, Kennedy said.
