Man reports armed robbery at home in southeast Wichita
Wichita police are investigating a Sunday morning robbery that happened in the 1500 block of South Old Manor.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police were called to the area after a 39-year-old man reported he had been robbed, according to Sgt. Bob Gulliver, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
The man said he was asleep in his home when he awoke to two men, both approximately 19 years old, in his house. One pointed a gun at the man’s head while another went through his house and collected several items.
The two then left the house in an unknown direction. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
No injuries were reported.
