Wichita police release photos of man suspected of robbing GameStop store

Police are looking for a man who robbed a GameStop on Rock Road on Monday morning.

The man walked into the store in the 3000 block of North Rock Road shortly after 11 a.m. and told an employee he had a gun, Lt. James Espinoza said. He demanded video games and headphones and left the area on foot.

The clerk was not hurt. He never saw a gun, Espinoza said.

He told police the suspect is a black male in his 30s who is about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He wore a brown coat, a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black skull cap and dark jeans.

Police posted several images of the robber on the Wichita Police Department Facebook page. The photos were taken from security camera video. Anyone who recognizes the robber is being asked to contact Det. Davis at 316-268-4496 or KEDavis@wichita.gov.
