One man arrested in north Wichita stabbing
Wichita police say a 35-year-old man was in critical condition Friday evening after he was stabbed in the upper arm by another man in a confrontation over an apparent debt.
Sgt. Ed Brower said officers who arrived at the house at 2237 N. Waco around 6:25 p.m. found the man bleeding from a “severe laceration.” He was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis for treatment.
Brower described his injuries as non-life-threatening.
Officers found and arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the assault, and he was jailed on suspicion of aggravated battery, Brower said.
Brower said the 37-year-old man stabbed the 35-year-old after confronting him about money.
