Cattle rustlers apparently have struck in Kingman County after six head of cattle were reported missing this week.
A Kingman County rancher told law enforcement that the animals were in a pasture in the southeastern part of the county and were taken sometime between Sunday and Thursday, the Kingman County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
Five of the animals are Longhorn cows and the sixth is a black Angus bull. All are 6 to 7 years old. The cows weigh 900 to 1,100 pounds, and the bull is about 1,500 pounds.
Three of the Longhorn cows are red without any horns; one is black and white with one horn, and the fifth is white with her horns tipped, or curved.
