$5,000 reward offered for information leading to arrest of Pittsburg homicide suspect

Gov. Sam Brownback has issued an executive order offering a reward for the apprehension of a suspect linked to a homicide in Pittsburg.

The $5,000 reward seeks information leading to the arrest and conviction of Bryan L. Bridges, 19, who is named as the remaining suspect in the death of Taylor Thomas on Oct. 9, according to a statement released by the governor’s office. Thomas was found in his home with a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Three of the four suspects connected to Thomas’ death have been apprehended. Anyone with information relating to the location of Bridges is asked to immediately contact the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 800-KSCRIME or the Pittsburg Police Department at 620-231-1700 or 620-231-TIPS (8477).
