One stabbed, two hurt in parking lot near Lincoln, Edgemoor

One man was stabbled and two others injured during a fight in a parking lot Saturday in the 800 block of South Christine, police said.

Police received a report about 9:30 p.m. that multiple suspects were punching and attacking the victims, near Lincoln and Edgemoor.

A 26-year-old man tried to intervene and was attacked and knocked unconscious, said Sgt. Ed. Brower.

A 33-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital where he was admitted for surgery, he said. A third victim, a 37-year-old man, received a broken nose and minor injuries.

The victims did not know the five assailants, Brower said.
